Streaming: Customize your Giving Experience

Providing an opportunity to give online within Streaming is a simple and effective way to make generosity part of your live services.

Online giving within streaming provides several customizable options:

  • Manage when online giving appears during your live-stream
  • Display up to two different giving forms: tremendous for cause-based giving promotion.
  • Customize the look and feel to align with your ministry's branding

Customize Giving in your Sidebar

The online giving form in the sidebar of Streaming is designed for your organization's primary giving form.

To customize your Sidebar Giving Form, click Add Giving on the dashboard screen.

The Streaming Settings screen will appear. Click on the Sidebar tab to see the Online Giving feature (below).

Designate your preferred Giving Form

Scroll down to the Give Settings section.

To change the Giving Form displayed, click the dropdown under Select your Giving Form to choose from active forms.

Select your preferred Form Display

Under Select your Giving Form Experience, choose where your giving form will appear, either in the sidebar or as a pop-up in the middle of the screen.

For example, the sidebar option is shown below.

Now that you have selected your options, don't forget to hit Save when you make any changes!

Customize Your Giving Banner

There is one more thing you can add with your Giving integration: the Banner at the bottom of the screen (*pictured below with a blue background).

The Banner is designed to draw your viewers' eyes, so it's easy to find. Since you can turn the banner on and off during your live-stream, it's a great option to display during your in-service giving time.

Again, you can also display a different giving form within the banner, making it a helpful way to promote cause-based or other unique ministry-focused giving opportunities.

Where to Customize Your Banner

  1. Click on the Appearance tab under Streaming Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Giving Banner section.
  3. Next, click the View/Edit Banner Settings button

  4. This will pop out an expanded menu where you can customize your banner settings.

Giving Banner Customization Options and Use Cases

  1. Use the Show Giving Banner toggle to enable or disable the banner.

  2. Select a giving form specifically for the Giving Banner.
    • Note: This can be the same or different from the one selected in the sidebar. For example, you could use this for a special offering or event.

  3. Edit your Giving Button text

  4. The Description can be modified to specify what your Giving Form is for and will be displayed above the Giving Button.

  5. Add a QR code alongside the Giving Button to make giving even more accessible. The QR code will link directly to the giving form you've previously selected.

  6. Customize the colors of your Banner to match your organization's branding.

  7. Select your Banner Visibility options from:
    • Always Show: This is great to make sure the banner stays visible during all your streams
    • Set Time: This option provides flexibility to schedule a time frame- this can also be multiple time frames in one stream.
    • Control when Live: This will give you the option for a default state of the banner if you want to keep it expanded and visible or collapsed.

Customize when Scheduling

When scheduling your streams, you can now modify the Giving settings for each stream

For the Sidebar, you can select a different form, rename the giving button, or use the link provided to open the full Sidebar Settings page.

For the Banner, you can easily enable or disable it for your scheduled stream, or click the link to access the Banner Settings directly.

All these options are here to help make this the best experience for your viewers and suit the needs of your organization.
